Askham Bryan College
Askham Bryan College is a large land based college in York. The college farm and estate covers over 413 hectares on two sites. It is approximately 3–4 hrs by coach from Harrow and 2 hours by direct train from London’s King’s Cross.
The college runs a variety of courses on site ranging from Agriculture and Land Management, Animal Management and Veterinary Nursing to Equine, Forestry and Arboriculture and Countryside and the Environment to name a few.
Students will be fully residential at the beautiful Askham Bryan College close to the beautiful and historic city of York. All students will be in single room accommodation with an en-suite bathroom. There is a common room for time to relax together and evening activities will be a mix of a film evening, bowling, ghost walk in York, indoor climbing wall or various on site activities or sports. All meals (breakfast, lunch and supper) will be in the central dining hall.
Students must have a spoken level of English that is Intermediate or higher – B2 on the Common European Framework, or a pass at Cambridge First Certificate to attend both of these courses
